Melissa Etheridge wants those who plan on attending her Danbury show Sunday – and those seeing her at any other venue for that matter – to know this current tour means a great deal to her.
It’s more than simply coming on stage, “playing my songs, and saying ‘thank you very much…goodnight,” she said. The appropriately titled “Revival” tour is a celebration of life — hers and yours.
“There’s something going on here,” the multi-award winning singer said in an interview Wednesday. “I wanted to liken (this tour) back to the old days of a preacher running through town, setting up a tent, bringing in the Holy Spirit, the holy rollers, the hollering, and the singing.
