Saturday evening’s “Mustaches for Haiti” event at Mercury Bar West raised over $100 for Haiti and saw over 75 people coming to celebrate with fake staches all for a good cause. Can “Chilli for Chile” be too far behind?
Jon Chattman and Rich Tarantino, the authors behind Sweet Stache, will be on hand for the American Mustache Institute’s ‘Stache Bash this weekend in St. Louis AKA the Home of Keith Hernandez’s 1970s mustache. Chattman will also be on hand to host the best ‘stache-oriented costume of the evening. For more info, visit here.
“There were a lot of mustaches in the 1970s in rock, wasn’t there? Like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd had good ones. Burt Reynolds’ has a legendary stache. Super Mario had a great stache. I suppose to be a villain too, you have to have dodgy facial hair.”
From October 2008… a wonderful month indeed.
