Kelsey Merritt realizes her band (Kelsey and the Chaos) is going to draw comparisons to breakout pop punkers Paramore, but she doesn’t mind it at all.
“I think it’s an honor to even be categorized in their same pool,” she said in an interview last week.
Still, there’s no denying Merritt and Chaos are somewhat different than that “Twilight” band. “We definitely do have our unique sound and style,” she said. “I would describe our sound as a blend of pop/rock that’s energetic and fun to sing along to – a throwback to great girl-fronted bands such as No Doubt and Blondie.” Continue reading
