The Adventuredome located at Circus Circus Hotel, located just off the Las Vegas Strip is an indoor amusement park that your children will enjoy. The Adventuredome features the Canyon Blaster, a thrilling double loop roller coaster that will excite riders of all ages. The Rim Runner is a flume that is as some points peaceful and at others FORCEFUL as you descend down a 60 foot waterfall.
The Adventuredome also has their own version of bumper cars called Canyon Cars. My child asked to go on these again and again! There are other exciting rides will take you back to your younger days attending carnivals such as Disk’O, Slingshot, Chaos and Inverter. These rides are most appropriate, generally speaking, for older children.
However, Adventuredome also has rides specifically geared for younger children as well. My child LOVED Thunderbirds, which allowed the rider to pilot an airplane, controlling its elevation off of the ground. There is also Miner Mike, which is a mini-roller coaster, Frog Hopper and the Circus Carousel.
Adventuredome also has many carnival style games and arcade machines. At these, you pay for the opportunity to win a prize. If you win multiple times, you have the option to trade your prizes for larger prizes. There is also a Sponge Bob Square Pants 4-D movie theater, which not only included a 3-D film, but also elicited your other senses of smell and touch as well.
Adventuredome is a wonderful place to take your children when visiting Las Vegas. It is great no matter what the weather, and it is a great change of pace from many of the other activities on the Las Vegas Strip.
