Sons of Hollywood star exposes himself

By Jon Chattman

Sean Stewart has got it all. He’s got the fame. He’s got the fortune. He’s the offspring of rock royalty. It seems the only thing the star of A&E’s new reality series Sons of Hollywood doesn’t have is… um, clothes? “I just feel free when I am naked so I always am. The ladies love it,” the 26 year old.
Yep, any fan of his series can tell you how the offspring of music legend Rod Stewart and model/actress Alana Stewart is always game for a pants off dance off. But there’s more to Stewart than shedding clothes and living large. He’s a singer/songwriter in his own right, and provides the music and lyrics to his series’ theme song. With that, let’s check in and see what’s up with the wild child.

How’d the concept for Sons of Hollywood come about?
David Weintraub (my manager), Bobby Heyward, Adam Moonves and JT Taylor (producer of The Osbournes) created the show. David wanted to do a show about young Hollywood and the boys of the young entertainment business in Los Angeles seen through the eyes of a young hot sexy singer which is me [laughs], an actor which is Randy Spelling and our best friend and agent turned manager David Weintraub. We pitched it, they bought it and we shot 12 brilliant episodes.

You guys have been labeled the “real” Entourage - what do you think of that notion? Do you guys really get along?
I love that show… But we never tried to copy them, we live a certain way which the press and outside viewers have deemed as Entouragish, so that’s why we were called Sons of Hollywood - “REALITY ENTOURAGE”. In reality, the show is really just young Hollywood and a bond of friendship between three friends who all work, live, eat and breathe in the entertainment biz.

What was your childhood like and right off the bat – do you hate that every offspring of a celebrity is automatically considered a “wild child?”
I grew up on tour with my dad and went to a bunch of different schools. So life was nothing but normal, perhaps that’s how I learned such wild behavior.

No doubt. Since you’re the son of rock royalty, do you feel compelled to follow in your dad’s footsteps?

I can never achieve what my dad has done. I respect him and love him. I just want to have my own career and work in the music business as a singer and to help find hot new artists.

Your dad was on American Idol recently; would you ever try out for the show? Would your dad’s status help or hurt you?
I wouldn’t do it. Love the show. It’s great fun to watch but I want to do it on my own and try to get out of my family’s shadow.

Word. Who in Hollywood history has had the best mustache ever and why?
The one and only Ron Jeremy… love that guy..

Nice. Would you ever want to break out and act professionally as well?
Eventually, I have been offered a few TV shows and movies but music is my passion so I am waiting for the right show/movie…Keep bringing them offers to Weintraub.

What reality shows do you watch, and why is yours a must see?
Dog The Bounty Hunter, Hogan Knows Best, Simple Life, Rob and Big.. oh and I love Gene Simmons’ Show.

Describe your typical weekend for us…
Recording music, hitting Malibu for some sun, eating sushi, hitting a party, and then eating my girlfriend’s sushi.

Hey, if people had catchphrases, what would yours be?

Living the life of the in crouddddd, no … my catchphrase is, “I’m me, like it or not.”

Is Rick Moranis underrated?
He was great in Ghostbusters and Honey, I Shrunk My Penis. Oh wait, that was the porno…

Last question Sean: You’re a singer/songwriter and model like your parents, but whose career outside of your parents would you like to emulate?
I love Tommy Lee, He is talented, funny, wild and pulls all the chicks.. Tommy When we Rollin out? I would love to follow in his footsteps and make some moves like him…

you need to quit thinking that everyone loves you because your pop is Rod Stewart. I was totally unimpressed with you. I thought you were nasty, obviously on something most of the time, arrogant, and not as good looking as you claim to be. You also can’t sing. You need to find a new line of work because there is only so much that studio editing can do. Your friend Weintraub is a total parody of himself. Anyone can see that he’s a big phony. Who on earth would believe that he bought that sports car from his commissions? He has rich parents and a lot of undertalented clients. What a pair of pathetic, vapid losers.
